Harriet & Tom's Wedding Film
Harriet and Tom were married in May of this year at the gorgeous Gants Mill in Somerset. The couple met at school and were best friends for 8 years before. Then went to different ends of the country for uni, then got together 2 years later.
We started our day with the bridal preparations at Lytes Cary Manor, which is a gorgeous National Trust owned medieval house in Somerset.
We then went onto St Peters Church, which is on the picturesque grounds of Stourhead also owned by the National Trust. Which meant we had the privilege of getting some amazing footage on its 2,500 acres of estate. We also gathered quite an audience when Harriet and Tom left the church ceremony through a guard of honour due to Tom's career in the military.
Shortly after, they were whisked away in a vintage car to Gants Mill, where the rest of their celebrations would take place. Gants Mill is a tranquil and intimate venue, nestled in greenery and overlooked by the Mill itself, they were played in by the beautiful sound of a string quartet and all of their family and friends cheering!
As the sun began to set it was the perfect opportunity for us and the photographer Voytek, to get some stunning shots of the couple. This venue couldn't have been more suited for Harriet and Tom.
The night then came to a close with some brilliant speeches and a whole lot of crazy dancing thanks to their band ‘Dexter!’ who got everybody up busting out some moves!
In all, it was such a perfect day for a wonderful couple! Watch more wedding films we've shot in Somerset on our website.
As you know Tom surprised me yesterday with the videos which were absolutely amazing, I thought they were going to take much longer.
Thank you so much for them, they are absolutely incredible, they have captured everything and more. The highlight and feature films are beautiful and it is so special to have the ceremony and speeches in full. I have to say it was very surreal watching the ceremony. Needless to say, I blubbed the whole way through watching them all.
Again thank you so much they will be something we will treasure forever, I can’t wait to show everyone. - Harriet & Tom
