The Story of Luke and Chrizzie

Luke and Chrizzie met in 2012 while working for the same company. Luke found out that Chrizzie was going to be relocated to Japan for work, then shortly after he also got offered the same opportunity. Chrizzie was the first one to hear about this news and her response was “WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME??!”.

Moving to Asia made them grow closer, whilst Chrizzie was helping Luke with language training, Luke was pestering Chrizzie to be his girlfriend... asking her literally a hundred times. The two spent the majority of their relationship apart because of work.

However, this did not stop the two from traveling and exploring Southeast Asia at every chance they got, experiencing new cultures and eating different types of food. After three years, Luke secretly asked Chrizzie's parents for their permission to marry her. Luke proposed at first in Bali and again in Japan, after he cooked Chrizzie her favorite Filipino food, Luke got down on one knee and asked her to be his. Now that we are back home in England we are excited to spend this next step in our lives with you all.

The Wedding Proposal

Having the ring made in England but going from Japan to Bali to England I didn’t want to pass on the opportunity to propose to her on a beautiful beach, I did this but it was only with a ring that would complement the main one. When we got to England and collected the main ring I took it back to Japan, where I cooked her favourite food and got down once again with the ring that I designed.
